First Step Cycle is collaborating with Hull City Council and Safer Roads Humber to run Kid Alert this year. Courtesy of Hull City Council, a Frog Bike is up for grabs for two lucky kids participating!

With the event’s future secured until 2023, FSSG will be running the event now in its 27th year. Kid Alert provides children with realistic scenarios with staff ‘acting out’ emergency situations. Children will be asked to pair off, check out the dangers and put each other in the recovery position.

The event will be running from the 13th of June through to the 24th of June at Sewell Group Craven Park Stadium. Each child that participates will be given an evaluation form to complete, and a boy and a girl will be chosen at random to win a Frog bike!

The programme aims to offer children some practical tips to take home (hopefully to use with a willing volunteer!).
