It has been a brilliant 5 months for our Rusty Riders program! We’ve brought together NHS workers along with other adults looking to make a change to their lifestyle. The programme trained the adults of Hull to haul the dust off their rusty cycle skills and get riding the roads of this great city.
More than 50 people have been welcomed onto the Rusty Riders training programme over the season. We’ve covered skills such as the importance of visibility gear, lights, and signaling on roads as well as riding on side streets, main roads and intersections.
As our Rusty Riders sessions draw to a close, we’d like to thank all of our participants for their hard work, and drive in completing the sessions.
The First Step Cycle team are looking forward to next year and welcoming new and experienced participants to the Rusty Riders programme.
