First Step Training (FST) is pleased to announce that we are now partnered with Active IQ as End-Point assessors for our vocational courses. We will now be recognised as an EPA provider with Active IQ, one of the leading organisations to become registered as an assessor for an apprenticeship standard in the sector.

Active IQ creates assessments and learning criteria for the active leisure, learning and wellbeing sector. With various types of coaching, support, and administration on offer at the apprenticeship- standard, they have many years of experience in pinpointing the centres that can provide the knowledge, skills, and behaviours an apprentice requires to thrive in their chosen roles.

With an array of courses offered by FST, avenues into coaching, supporting activities in schools and producing the next generation of athletes will now have the full accreditation of a world-class organisation. First Step Training will therefore become a partner within a network of providers committed to producing competent sporting professionals.
