New School Partnerships – Highlights

It gives us great pleasure to announce two of our new partnerships for the 2020-21 academic year. We love to work with forward thinking schools that put an emphasis on the impact high quality PE and school sport can have on pupil’s attainment and health outcomes. Next year sees the start of partnerships with two of Hull’s largest primary schools.

“We decided to use First Step PE as we were impressed with how they want to work with the school to support our vision for PE and not impose a fixed format of lesson on us. The documentation sent after our first enquiry was very clear and they provide so many ways to support schools there is a great range to cover every possible need. The staff have kept in regular contact but have not bombarded us with calls which is very important. Everyone has been very friendly and professional and we are looking forward to working with the coaches in the next academic year.”

“I have chosen First Step PE to work with Eastfield for 20-21 year as I was impressed with their CPD lessons which I observed during a free trial. The coaches we have used in previous years have taught great lessons but the teacher just observed and was not involved in the actual teaching of the lesson which meant they were still not confident in teaching that sport even after having a coach. The CPD sessions provided by First Step PE will upskill the teachers so they can confidently teach that particular sport. Also, I have previously used many coaches from different organisations which takes time to correspond with and organise when they will be in school. However, with First Step PE all of the organisation is sorted before the school year starts.”
