Schools can now register for The Big Walk and Wheel! After an amazing showing last year, it’s time to welcome the Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel 2023, taking place from the 20th to the 31st of March. As the largest inter-school walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling challenge, we are looking forward to ten days of celebrating the best of active travel!

Last year, new disability guidelines encouraged children of all abilities to get involved. The event is open to all primary and secondary schools, including those that cater to pupils with broader educational needs in SEN, ASN, or ALN schools.

This year daily prizes are up for grabs! Compete with other schools for the highest percentage of pupils, walking, using a wheelchair, scooting or cycling. Choose your best five days or log all ten days to be entered into the daily prize draw.
