Stoneferry Bikeability success sees school renew partnership for 10th consecutive year!

This year First Step Cycle has successfully delivered yet another course of Bikeability Training to a passionate group of Stoneferry Primary School Year 6 pupils. Working closely with the school each year on Bikeability since 2013, they have become one of our loyal long-serving partners, and it is always a privilege to keep returning each year.

The school quickly pointed out just how slick the organisation of the course was this year, with both the booking process being swift, and staff assisting them being helpful. Not only were the booking staff brilliant, but each of the coaching staff on the training at the school came across professionally, smart, and presentably to the school, doing First Step Cycle proud.

As for the delivery of the Bikeability training itself, Teaching Assistant Jane was delighted with the quality of the training. She stated:

“The course was detailed, thorough, and delivered brilliantly. The content was excellent and gave the children a variety of challenges and experiences.”

Staff at the school also assured that the children were kept incredibly safe and enjoyed the course very much. This is a credit to our coaches Kiera, Duane, Dan, Ben, Andrew, and Lewis who delivered the programme.

Due to the continued great experience that Stoneferry had with us this academic year, we are delighted that they have already extended their booking for next year, with another round of Bikeability Training for their new Year 6 pupils. We can’t wait to get started, see you in 2022/23!
