On the 10th of December, join us online for the first annual Celebration of Bikeability event! This year, they’ll be celebrating all the Bikeability children, coaches, and the people that have supported them. With the awards evening returning, they’ve also broadened the range of categories to recognise the people that have made Bikeability a reality.
In their usual style, they’ll be sharing some of the most memorable and inspirational stories they have from Bikeability instruction. From getting over the hump, indicating left and right without that wobble to realising the freedom that comes with getting on a bike and feeling confident. They have it all!
As always, they’ll be sharing the highlights, tips, and tricks from the Bikeability event across their socials so stay tuned on that front.
The nominations for the annual awards have now opened. Anyone can nominate someone, you can even nominate yourself! Options include but are not limited to instructors, training providers, grant recipients, pupils, or teachers, to win an award under the following categories:
- Bikeability Instructor of the Year
- Rising Star Award
- School of the Year
- Pete Rollings Awards: Trainee Rider of the Year
- Small Organisation of the Year
- Large organisation of the Year
- Triumph Over Adversity
- Lifetime Achievement Award
