The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of PE and School Sport was developed by the industry to give learners a first-rate understanding of schools as an organisation and environment for physical education.
The course provides learners with more than 100 hours of guided learning through 8 assessments, for individuals that want practical knowledge of navigating the school environment. To better accommodate the modern schools’ needs, learners who successfully pass this course will have a better understanding of school policy, procedure, safeguarding, and the roles and responsibilities of school staff.
Students will work with the First Step Training instructors to establish methods of assistance for reviewing lessons, learning outcomes, and working within a system of learners and teachers, through the prism of delivering PE and school sport. With First Step’s extensive experience in the best practice methods designed to help support schools, learners will have first-hand experience in the planning and delivery of consistently high-level PE and school sports programs.
The Level 3 Certificate is well-placed to offer learners confidence in several roles within a school or other suitable learning environments. The course is best suited to those who aim for careers in sports development, sports coaching, volunteering, and leadership. For those with teaching aspirations, four units of this course are equal to a Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
We aim at First Step Training, to provide a safe, immersive environment for learners to apply themselves, and to develop the skills they need for the sports and activities sector. If that sounds like the environment that could make you the best coach you can be, contact the team for more information today.
