Following the successful launch of First Step Wild Programme in January 2019, we’re delighted to announce some new holiday camps and wild workshop programmes.
The new programmes will be launching in Hull over the coming months, with plans to roll them out further in the future.
Here’s what we’ve got planned:
Holiday Wild Camps – Easter and Summer 2019
We’re launching some fun outdoor Wild activity camps for 8-13 year olds in Hull – the perfect holiday activity camps that will keep kids active, entertained and outdoors during the break from school.
Camps will be held every weekday from 9.30am to 4.30pm throughout the Easter and Summer holidays, at Hull Collegiate School in Anlaby. The holiday camps will be priced at £30 per day, per child.
Camps will include a varied programme of fun outdoor activities, team challenges, bushcraft skills and games – in addition to special talks and visits from outside organisations, including Humber Rescue. At the end of each day, there will be an awards presentation to recognise the kids’ achievements.
Children can expect to have loads of fun, connect with the outdoors and engage with nature – whilst learning some really useful skills.
Wild Tots and Wild Rangers Workshops
We’re also launching a fun series of Saturday Wild outdoor workshops designed for younger children and their parents.
The 5 week workshop programme will launch on Saturday 16th Feb, at the East Park Pavillion in Hull, and will include a variety of fun, hands on outdoor activities designed to engage children’s senses and connect them with the great outdoors. It’s the perfect family activity for a Saturday – with plenty for parents to get involved with.
Programme times will be as follows:
- Wild Tots (3-5 year olds) – 11am – 12pm
- Wild Rangers (5-8 year olds) – 12pm – 1pm
Each workshop will be priced at £5 per child.
